Since research-based programmes are primarily dedicated to tutored investigations (80 ECTS credits) and taught study-units (10 ECTS credits), you will have acquired a solid framework in the area of study together with a focused research direction evidenced by a dissertation proposal at the time of application. If you are intending to undertake this path of further studies, then you are encouraged to contact members of the Faculty before you make a formal presentation of your proposal. The Faculty will accept such proposals once it can ascertain it has the capability to offer support in the area you request.
As a holder of this degree, you will be able to pursue a career as a researcher in the field and as a teacher. Further studies are also available by pursuing a PhD degree locally or abroad in a foreign institution, provided that the necessary pre-requisites are met.
